Lisa M. Roberts, MD, is Founder and Medical Director of Hereditary Care Center. She is a Fellow of the American College of Gynecologists (FACOG) and President and CEO of Gynecology and Laparoscopic Surgeons, PC.

As a gynecologist, Dr. Roberts, sees many patients with a family history of breast and other cancers. She is passionate about providing her patients with the most information possible to empower them to take charge of their current and future health decisions. She has been providing her patients with a risk assessment, genetic counseling and genetic testing for those who have high risk factors for inherited genetic mutations associated with cancers. Recognizing the need for local genetic counseling and testing, as well as the need for services for men and women, she founded Hereditary Care Center. Dr. Roberts provides genetic counseling services for HCC patients.

Dr. Roberts frequently speaks to physician groups educating them on the necessity of genetic testing and the process for screening their patients’ risk factors to assess who should consider testing.
